I have decades of experience in different fitness types and I combine them in my training to provide a unique personalized experience

Boxing

As a former heavyweight boxer, I am passionate about sharing the benefits of boxing for all levels and ages. Boxing is great for your heart and mind–and builds muscle, reflexes, and confidence. Can be done in person or virtually; I’ll also make recommendations on equipment to use to maximize your potential.

Aerobic Conditioning

Aerobic conditioning is important to strengthen your heart and burn calories. Let’s enjoy fast-paced, upbeat, and personalized aerobic movements–with minimal equipment. I’ll share my favorite playlists and help you build energy and lean muscles. I’ll infuse my unique style of aerobic movement, dancing, and other techniques into each routine.

Strength-Building

Use your body and learn exercises you can do anywhere to build strength and resilience. You do not need any equipment or weights; I’ll show you how to master your body. Bodyweight exercises are especially helpful for you to commit to having strength from within. Master floor exercises and creative, personalized routines for lengthening and strengthening your core and all your major muscle groups.

Stretching

You must stretch to lengthen muscles and recover. You will learn breathing techniques and unique stretches to use for your core and any areas of pain. I will teach you stretches that can be done anywhere, and will help you build energy during the day–especially if you work at a computer. I incorporate yoga, pilates, and tai chi techniques I’ve learned from experts across the industry. I specialize in restorative stretches for people with Parkinson’s and other chronic illnesses.

About Andy

Andy began working as a fitness coach over 20 years ago in the Caribbean; he trained with instructors from around the world and started his own mind-body fitness program at LaSource hotel & spa in Grenada.

He regularly enriches his fitness education as a member of NASM, ACSM, and IDEAFit+. He is Red Cross CPR-certified and fully insured as a personal and group fitness trainer.

Andy was certified as an Amateur Boxing Coach (Caribbean Community Skills Certificate and Trinidad & Tobago Boxing Association), attended the Equinox Personal Trainer Academy at the Equinox Fitness Training Institute, and received Level 1 and Level 2 (knee) certificates through FAMI (Functional Anatomy for Movement & Injuries).

Expression through Painting

I am passionate about painting. I started painting years ago but have only recently been able to devote time to sharing my energy through art.

Now I am so happy to share this art with all of you–and bring moments to life. I’m able to paint across genres because it is about energy: from landscapes, still life, abstract, animals, and recreating photos.
